I can't even begin to tell you how heartsore I get when I look at these pictures. I was so excited about this birthday party, it was MY celebration. A year previously I had lain in hospital for 2 days, and gave birth to the most precious baby boy. Ouma and myself made the snacks and got you a gorgeous ice cream cake from Bassets. You enjoyed your day, but of course you didn't know what all the fuss was about.
And - as soon as the guests left, you took your very first step. From the coffee table to the couch. I will NEVER forget that day, ever!!!
